These things always seem to be implemented the wrong way, e.g. once you've got a route, there is no way you can forward on the url to a friend; your friend would have to go through the (badly designed) set of three steps to get to the same page. I guess they are pushing the walk or cycle thing, it gets you there quicker anyway.
