Hi Janine,
Glad to have found this as I'm moving up to Dublin myself (& looking for web design work!). These things always seem to be implemented the wrong way, e.g. once you've got a route, there is no way you can forward on the url to a friend; your friend would have to go through the (badly designed) set of three steps to get to the same page. Also, you could build some really cool stuff onto this if it was also offered as a web service. Pity.

thanks for the heads up on the site, its pretty cool, is there something like that for cars? I guess they are pushing the walk or cycle thing, it gets you there quicker anyway.

BTW walking burns more calories than cycling?? who knew.

[...] WYSIWYG points us towards the Dublin journey planner, enter two street addresses and the journey planner will return the route to take. Nicely done, though it would be even nicer if it was done with google maps. www.dto-journeyplanner.ie. Send this post to a friend [...]

Hi Nuno,

Being the shy and retiring type, I ain't the one to ask! :)

But I am reliably informed that most clubs shut at either 3.30 or 4.30 am.

Enjoy your trip to Dublin!

Hi Janine

I´m travelling to Dublin, 2 weeks from now, and I would just like to know how´s the nightlife in Dublin..are Clubs open all night ?
My return flight is at 7 am Sunday and I don´t want to pay an extra nigth so I was thinking in clubbing until 5.30/6.00 am and then go straight to the airport

thanks in advance
