Large size shoes for women in Dublin
Update 31 May 2011: The post below is now 6 years old! You can now find an up to date list of Irish shops and international websites selling shoes in large sizes on my Pretty Big Shoes Store Directory.
I’ve posted before about my big feet, and while London offers some good options, there is not much to choose from if looking for ladies shoes in large sizes in Dublin. However, I have found some larger sizes, even in wider fittings, in the following Dublin shops:
- Update March 2008: Dublin’s first shoe store specialising in size 8+ shoes opens! Cinderella shoes have a store in the Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. Read my review here.
- Evans are well known on the high street for fashionable clothes for the fuller figure. It’s less obvious that they also sell shoes in large sizes and wide fittings. Similarly to their clothes, sizes are generous, so if you usually take a size 9, an 8 may do you here. Wide sizes are marked 9W etc. Not all branches do shoes, and there is not a huge selection in those that do. The Henry Street branch stocks most of the range as far as I know. Prices are not great considering the quality and the sterling conversion is dodgy, but in the last sale, I picked up 2 pairs for less than € 30!
- Barratts cater for smaller and larger sizes outside the 3 to 8 mainstream. It can be hard to find larger sizes out on the shelves, so it may be the case that they need to be ordered specially? Next also stock size 9 shoes occasionally and you can order size 9s in most styles via the Next Directory. Clarks will order in larger sizes in some styles for you, but this can take some time and of course there is no guarantee they will be comfortable when they do arrive!
Update June 2006
After a long hiatus, I notice that my post on large size ladies shoes in London is still attracting lots of comments, so I am trying to update the info on my big shoe posts to help fellow sufferers!
As far as Dublin goes, I have been disappointed with the Cinderella shoes concession in Arnotts. It is really just a shelf of shoes – blink and you would miss it. The styles don’t do much for me by and large and the prices are expensive. However, I would not mind paying for quality and comfort so I still look in whenever I am passing.
My main saviour recently for casual shoes has been TK Maxx! It can be a bit hit and miss, but they often stock some pretty trainers in feminine shades (pinks, lilacs etc) by brands such as Reebok, Ralph Lauren and Skechers. At around € 30 a go on average, you can’t go wrong!

Hello fellow bigfoot, Have you ever tried Zappos.com. There’s some beautiful boots available and some wacky shoes too!!
March 23rd, 2005 at 7:50 pm
hi laura,
nice to know i’m not alone
unfortunately when i looked at zappos, they don’t ship outside the united states – i’m fed up of sites that say that!
although to be honest i would not be keen on ordering shoes online anyway – you really need to try shoes on to see if they would be comfortable and some suppliers make you foot the return postage yourself which could be high for a pair of shoes…

COOL. I have big feet too. hahah. finding pretty shoes SHOULD be fun, and it’s not.
April 8th, 2005 at 7:54 pm
I’ve been to one of their roadshows in Newcastle and was really happy with the selection available – there are NO retailers of larger sizes in the North East of England at all! Lucky Dublin!
I get to Ireland twice a year – It will be wonderful to go into a store and buy 2 or 3 pairs of shoes without waiting in line at a roadshow.

I’m visiting Dublin soon and what a nice thing it was to find out that there are at least one store where you can find larger shoes! I’m definitely going to visit Arnotts. Thanks for the tip!

Ladies, Zappos is indeed a great site to shop from. If the don’t ship outside the US, then try designershoes.com. Although I live in NY, I have been to the store several times and as with Zappos I shop with them often. The ladies at designershoes are very helpful on the phone and when you go to the store in Boston (which I have done a lot!) I used to think that buying shoes from a website is like buying the proverbial “puss in a bag” but with both of these ‘sites I must confess that I have had no problems. The designers they both carry are reputable & fashion forward. I love sexy, trendy shoes in different colour than the regulation black and brown, 3 inch heels or not. Why should only the young and small-feet women wear fashion clothing to complement the styles of today. I’m a 21st century 48 year-old professional woman who loves to look modern not like Nurse Rathcett:) I will be in London travelling over Europe over the summer. If anyone can suggest fashionable shoe stores for a US size 12 woman, please let me know.
thank you all,

I have started an information site for ladies who take larger shoe sizes. It is just getting going, but I hope to add more content soon!

I have just returned from shoe shopping and as usual I’ve found nothing or what I did find was so horendous and boat-like that I was depressed. I am very thankful for your help on this site and plan to go down t0 Chiltern street tomorrow. It was also good to know that there were more beautiful but big feet ladies out there. Thanks!!

You can find cute & trendy shoes at this website http://www.kathrynkerrigan.com
It’s a US based company, but they sell and send to overseas customers all the time!!!
July 8th, 2006 at 7:44 am
Crispins in Chiltern St is shoe heaven. Also Salvatore Ferragamo in Bicester goes up to 9. Just returned from madrid another shoe heaven but nothing over a 7 unless you went to El Cortes Ingles dept store

I live in Florida and my shoe size is 12. Finding shoes in my size is definitely hard to do. I am medium size and people figure if you wear big size shoes then you have wide feet and big calf. Anyway I decided to google and I came across this website. Great idea! Now i don’t feel alone. From the comments I have learned about two online stores Designer shoes & Zappo, I will definitely check them out. Clouds Walker they are affliated with Avenue (clothing for full figure women) the online shoe store carry bigger size & wide width shoes.

Hi, I live in Monaghan and for years have had difficulty finding a decent outlet for size 12 feet. I have found these very reliable online for large sized womens shoes . I saw their range early on at arnotts but now their online shop seems to have a much wider range which is where I buy most of my shoes from now. Thanks for this site, a very useful resource.

I agree that Cinderella shoes are disappointing. in fact, ta for the tips but none of the websites mentioned show anything like the snazzy numbers you’d see in the likes of Schuh. Why do more manufactures not make them, there’s loads of us, and girls just keep gettin taller so presumably their feet are getting bigger. It’s a killing in waiting! Maybe we should petition design graduates..
September 29th, 2006 at 1:48 pm
Hiya, great site thanks a mil! Have a pair of Tall, bigfooted, BEAUTIFUL, 14 year old twin girls. It’s getting to be a pain trying to find something in Dublin that is young and fashionable for them. I’m desperately trying to get a pair of Babycham trainers for one and ballet style shoes for the other. It’s so disheartening to see there faces everytime they try and do the ugly stepsister scenario of trying on the shoe and squishing their toes in saying Oh, it’s okay they my toe fits – See! Knowing full well they don’t. Any suggestions on how to contact manufacturers direct or…………any suggestion would be welcome. Thanks a Million! Caroline

hi, I have a beauriful tall 13 year old who cant find shoes at all in Dublin to fit her. she is an 8 and a half I wish someone would open up a shoe shop for larger feet. I know many people with this problem of dreading buying an outfit because the shoes will never match. Is there a place that will make shoes for feet in Dublin. I know that is expensive but I dont want my daughter to think she is different because she cant buy the latest styles like her peers
November 6th, 2006 at 12:10 pm
Hi Nell, I’m afraid I don’t know of any bespoke shoe makers in Dublin, although even if there were, I’d say the styles would be more classic and tailored than cutting edge fashion. It’s not any comfort to your daughter, but things are a bit better than 10 years ago at least, and hopefully her feet will not get much bigger – mine were pretty much done at 12 if it gives her any hope!
Have you tried asking in Barretts stores? They do some styles up to size 10. Evans stores also do their shoes in larger sizes, and their fittings are very generous – she may only need a 7 in there. The range is not fantastic – they don’t do many casual styles – but it would be OK for school shoes and high heels etc.
In terms of trainers, I find TK Maxx best! You need to look on a regular basis, but they often have girly runners in sizes 8, 9 and 10 at very cheap prices. I have got some nice pink Skechers, Ralph Lauren and Nikes there.

Hi all, I’m the mother of 13 year old twins with size 9 1/2 feet. Well I found my solution – http://www.zappos.com. This will only help if you have someone you can have them delivered to in the US then have them mailed on to you. We’re lucky that the girls Aunt lives in Seattle. Anyway the site is fantastic and has everything my girls could possibly want in every size imaginable. This is a fantastic site and the cost with exchange is comprable if not better the Euro or conversion to sterling. Best of luck.
Caroline
November 6th, 2006 at 12:23 pm
Hi Caroline,
That’s great news. I’m delighted for you and the twins.
There was a service called http://www.shopthestates.com/ which let those of us without contacts in the US still have products delivered to US addresses and then forwarded on. Alas, it has now closed, but the site still mentions 2 other similar paid services which may be of benefit to others.

hey i’m a size 9 er and have spent many frustrating day shoe shopping in dublin but have recently discovered that topshop sell some size 9 shoes. although they can sometimes be small fittings i have struck gold on the odd occasion. They can be good for the ballet style shoes mentioned above.(caroline, you should deffinately bring your girls here if they’re a size nine).

February 20th, 2007 at 11:38 pm
Just to say I was shopping in Tralee Co.Kerry sat and went into the shop SHOE ZONE. I bought a pair of casuals actually they were a size 8 as there sizes are very generous. They had quite a good few size 9′s and there is alot of shops in ireland and england. There web site is http://www.SHOEZONE.NET
February 24th, 2007 at 4:41 pm
I’m 5’10 with size 9 feet, 19 years old, dublin
I have had big feet my whole life & now have come to despise shoe shopping.
I only go shopping when i am in desperate need of a pair of shoes & only have the bare necessities in shoes: 1 pair of runners, 1 pair of strappy sandals for gouing out, 1 pair of mens flip-flops for summer, & 1 pair of knee high boots that are far too big on the calf & ankle.
It’s so frustrating going from store to store & being told 8 is the biggest size they stock. I always end up coming home empty handed & severely depressed.
I’ve broken my big toe which re-set itself the wrong way because the only shoes that were available to me were just too small.
I’ve tried every single store that stocks shoes for larger feet & every store that has been mentioned here (aside from US stores – i need to try on shoes before i buy them)…but the majority of them are very unfashionable or made for wide foot/ calf.
I wish i could go shoe shopping like a normal person & see a pair of shoes, ask for my size & just buy them then & there…….not search for hours on end only to be told “we don’t stock that size”.
February 28th, 2007 at 10:24 am
Hi, shall we make a little contest? Who has the biggest feet among women?
I take size 12 to 13, it just depends, normally I have to contend with men’s shoes. Glad to have found this website, maybe now shoe shopping will become easier.

Just in case you wonder: my mother takes size 11 1/2, my father takes size 50 in Germany, my brother takes size 18 in American size, I’ve been out shopping with him in Germany.

hi i can not believe the ridiculous comments i have read .i am 10 years old and i am a size 9.all of you are older than me and if you can not find shoes now what do you think will happen to me there is no possible chance of finding shoes when im your age put your self in my shoes..does this make you women feel much better ?????????????????.keep this site going for people like me i can not find school shoes i have to burrow my mums . i am embarrased when i go out with this shoe i look like a big foot .when people who are older than me are size 4 or 5.this should brighten up your days.my mum told me about this site i just thought of putting my message in .
March 11th, 2007 at 9:23 am
Hi Victoria,
I do understand where you are coming from. If it is any consolation to you, I did most of my growing when I was quite young – both in height and my feet. I stopped growing by 13 and my feet only grew a tiny bit since I was 12. I was a ‘large’ size 8 then (probably only because I could not find any 9s in the shops) and I am a 9 now but a very wide size 9 which is as big a problem. So, don’t despair – you might even stay a size 9 if you’re lucky.
Update for everyone:
I am going to start a new website specialising in information and advice for women with big feet. Do you think that this would be a good idea? I intend listing and having user reviews of shops and websites in different countries stocking big shoes, and I also intend starting a petition / register that people can sign up to which I will then make major shoe retailers aware of. If there are features you would like to see on the site, let me know! Leave a comment or mail janinedalton AT gmail DOT com
The bottom line is that we are all in much the same boat. We have big feet and little or nothing in the shops to choose from. At least there are specialist websites now, but I don’t think it’s natural to buy shoes online. Even though I practically live online, I have never bought shoes. Most sites have very dear postage to Ireland, and if the shoes don’t fit it’s hassle and expensive to return them.
March 11th, 2007 at 12:07 pm
Victoria, i’m the same, i’ve always had size 9′s (& been very tall) since i was a child, nothing worse than making your communion & having to wear specially made womens shoes rather than the cute shoes all the other 8 year old’s were wearing. Spent my childhood wearing mens runners, getting school shoes was the worst for me always had 2 squeeze into a size 8! Most places that specialise in larger shoes sizes don’t have stylish shoes at all. Hopefully there will be a big change in the coming years & large, fshionable shoes will be everywhere.
March 11th, 2007 at 12:51 pm

Victoria – I feel for you, I went through most of my life without any really nice shoes, they were always different to my friends. You can get school shoes at http://www.tallgirls.co.uk. There are so many online places to buy shoes from nowadays but probably too expensive and not your style but for my its heaven, I order a pair a month (sometimes 2) simply because I can!! so dont dispair it will get easier, my daughter who is 10 takes a 6 so she is going to be blessed with big feet too!!!

May 22nd, 2007 at 10:04 pm
hi all..
well i believe from reading all your comments we arent blessed in the foot department in someways. i think having big feet is a knightmare but look on the brightside we have more money for clothes im 6ft, 20 and a generous 9 shoe and i have around 40 pairs believe me they are shops out there. i often find cheap and cheerful size 9′s at priceless shoes, all ranges styles and colours!!! it does annoy me that my friends can go into faith and schuh but evans is a good alternative i have some beautiful shoes from there but recently i have discovered next.online does a size 9 and they are out of this world especially with the trends that are all in now.. so girls dont dispair, grab a pedicure and pamper ur feet make them loved and u will find some sexy sassy shoes honest if i can u can !!

Hello my fellow big-foots!!!!!! Korkys in Dublin also has larger size shoes! I’m a size 8 which isn’t too bad but my friend is a size 9 and had desperately searching for a pair of Ugg boots in her size! She found a pair in Korkys and hasn’t stopped talking about it since! Admittedly, they don’t stock every pair of shoes in larger sizes but they do seem to have some, which is a start I suppose
June 13th, 2007 at 1:23 pm
Hi, I’m a UK10/EUR44, have had trouble my whole life getting shoes and really feel sorry for those younger people out there still coming to terms with it. Anyway, have recently discovered a nice shop in Drogheda which stocks some larger sizes. Yes it’s limited to certain brands of shoe such as Gabor, Remonte and a few others, but the staff are wonderful. I am getting regular phone calls from the owner of the shop letting me know when new styles/colours come in. I have recently bought 5 pairs of summer sandals, 3 being different colours of the same design but hey, don’t knock it. I’m thrilled! I’m now set up for the summer and eagerly awaiting my next phone call. In fact I can’t wait for the Autumn range to come in. These styles are stocked by Cinderella Shoes but they were more expensive, I bought one pair from Cinderella for 70 Euro and they were only 60 Euro at this shop. The name of the shop is VICTOR DWYER SHOES, Drogheda. Happy shopping!
June 25th, 2007 at 3:22 pm
I too have been hobbling around in shoezone shoes which only go up to a 9.
I’m actually a 10 and Barretts are great but only carry a few of size 10- and nothing you can walk too far in.
All suggestions of where to shop are very welcome.
The Arnotts collection is so disappointing-they are very ugly for the most part which is such a shame as I drool over their normal stuff. As for Evans – occassionally I’ll find something but usually I can get two feet in one shoe – they are super wide.
I recently bought 2 pairs on line from Magnus but the postage cost me €50!!! I’ll just have to go to Chiltern St when next in London.
June 26th, 2007 at 7:19 pm
Hello everyone. It’s so good to know people share a similar problem! I’m only an 8 but an EEE+ width fitting, and I have been unsuccessfully searching for my son’s wedding in August. Must have had 40 pairs of online shoes over my doorstep, but the style of wedding shoes tend to be pointy, and EEE are simply not wide enough. My ideal shoes would be peeptoe, silver with a 2-3 inch heel. Can anyone help please. Have tried most online shops in the UK. It’s so depressing!
Thanks, Jan
June 26th, 2007 at 9:58 pm
hi Jan, have you tried Evans? Not sure where you live but if you can get to London or Bluewater, they have the Georgina Goodman range which has lots of peep toes and they do come up really wide, I am a UK 10 but always buy an evans 8/0 as they are so wide.
Otherwise if your feeling rich or can ram up a credit card then try http://www.selve.co.uk – they are in london and do made to measure, You can choose the heel/material/style – it will cost you a lot but they will be unique and should last for years. If your broke then Magnus starts their sale beginning of July and their shoes do come up wide.
Linda
let us know how you get on

August 28th, 2007 at 10:11 am
hi tina, what size are you? if you are size 8 or above, you will find it difficult to find shoes or boots of any type in dublin i’m afraid
otherwise, the clothes shop evans (they have a branch on mary street in the city centre) might be worth a try as they do generous wide fitting shoes and boots. enjoy your visit to dublin!
August 28th, 2007 at 10:18 am
hi tina – if you visit the site http://www.cinderellashoes.ie they have quite a few boots, they are based in ireland but have a concession in Arnotts in Dublin. They may not stock the full range but if you email them and tell them when you are going they will arrange to have more shoes/boots at the concession so that you can try them on. Hope this helps They go up to an UK 11

April 2nd, 2008 at 8:13 pm
I have used http://www.large-size-designer-shoes.co.uk/ and have found them excellent. I also wanted to mention http://www.frenchsole.com/ who do gorgeous ballerina shoes. If you check their size guide you’ll see some of their styles go up to EU44. Also I saw http://www.amberandjade.com/ mentioned in the Sunday Times – but beware they say their fittings are narrow. Oh, and two American sites: http://www.shoesofyourdreams.com/ and http://www.designershoes.com/, the latter of which has a great selection. I have bought Uggs from them before (which go up to a UK9 I believe), but I had to pay a fortune in import duty. I’d suggest you see the names of the designers you like on these sites, and search around the internet for local or European retailers, who might order in your size for you, even if they don’t usually stock it. It’s really not the shops to blame – it’s the designers. It costs them more to produce a line in a size which they THINK is not cost effective to sell; I think these days there is a big market for larger ladies’ shoes. Viva la revolution!
April 13th, 2008 at 5:20 am
new discovery. im told its a brand new web redesign but i have NEVER seen these types of shoes , and brand name designers in big sizes! seriously.. i got this referal from the Daily Candy archives. ladies… your search stops here. and they deliver internationally! and janine.. thanks for this post.
April 14th, 2008 at 2:11 pm
I feel your pain everyone, i like shoes but hate shoe shopping as i’m a narrow footed size 9/10, i wish i could buy normal sizes like everyone else!! im bridesmaid in two wks and still dont have shoes, hitting blanchardstown tonight in the hope of finding something, i might try cinderella shoes too but when I saw them in arnotts i thought they were very old fashioned looking and very expensive!! barratts do bigger sizes but most of there larger-sized shoes have very high heels, im tall enough as it is (5-10) without looking like a giant!! sue
July 16th, 2008 at 1:55 am
my favorite website just got an awesome blog. i am pregant and they actually discuss sites for tall maternity clothes! mostly, its a blog for my favorite shoe store.. but you guys know that! and there is a $100 shopping spree if you write them a big shoe disaster story!!!!
August 15th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
Hi all,
I have bought a few court shoes through barratts in size 9, either in the shop or on line, they are good fitting shoes, and also I go them on next on line,
August 22nd, 2008 at 12:12 pm
Did you notice that Cinderella shoes now have a shop in Stephens Green Shoppin centre…. much better than Arnotts concession was. right up to a size twelve, I am five foot one with size ten feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to let you know, I finally hope to launch a website dedicated to ladies with larger feet. I never expected my 2 blog posts about my big feet to strike such a chord and I’m hoping that if I can build a community site for us over time, our voice will be heard and we will have more choice available. I also hope it will highlight the shops and websites that do cater for us at the moment. I’ll be starting with a message board shortly, where we can all learn from each other’s tips and keep up to date with shoe sales etc. If you would like to be notified when the site launches, just enter your email at http://www.prettybigshoes.net. Thanks, Janine.

Hi All,
I too get very frustrated when shopping for shoes. I am size 9 and can sometimes find my size in Evans but the problem is: they are wide fitting shoes and tend to slip off. Is there anywhere in Ireland I can get size 9 in regular fitting. I have looked at Cinderella Shoes website but they are too expensive. Does anybody know the name of a shop on the Quays in Dublin that specialise in large shoes for men? I believe they now have a ladies range also. I think it is somewhere near Arran Quay.

Hi Hilda,
The shop on the keys is Heather’s shoes, but I rang just now to check and they don’t do ladies shoes any more. Cinderella shoes can have some better value in their sale section – might be worth popping in to top floor Stephens Green to check. Other than that, Evans is your other main option.
However, you can also order size 9 online from the Next directory. http://www.nextdirectory.ie/page.asp?b=G44&p=172&o=1 I tried this once, but the shoes did not fit right so I did not buy them. They order them in to the nearest store doing directory delivery, but you are not obliged to take them and will be refunded there and then if you want. I did feel a bit awkward about it though!
Thanks for signing up to Pretty Big Shoes too

hi emma & victoria
my heart goes out to you both – I went through that whole hiding my feet and hoping no one would notice stage for 20 years. Best thing is to laugh with them, then it becomes boring and they will stop. There are loads of shops with shoes that will fit you, not all of them will have the styles you are looking for but take a look at http://www.tallwomen.org and click on the shoe icon, scroll down to the Uk and you will see the web addresses of loads of sites – just work your way throught them especially as the sales are on – you will just have grab your mum or dads credit card (with their permission of course!!!!!) the other great shop is http://www.barefoottess.com in the US and she has everystyle going – a UK 10 is a US 12 and they also give the width of the shoes on that site as well – but be warned you may or may not have to pay custom charges – I have bought about 4 pairs from her and have never had to but you never know. Please let us know if you find anything and remember you have big feet but its not the end of the world- I guess you both must be tall – my daughter is now a size 7 and is a shortie I am just hoping that she grows into her feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all, my shoe forum is finally up and running at http://www.prettybigshoes.net/site/forum/.
I’ve added some initial info, and will of course be adding more content as I get time. I’m also starting work on the store directory which will add a lot more value to the site.
It would be great if some of you lovely ladies could join the forum and share your favourite shops etc. Or, if you have trouble finding shoes to fit you, ask at the forum, and hopefully you will get some help.
I know that a lot of people have got helpful info from this blog post over the years which is really great. But it’s got so long that it’s not the easiest way of sharing the information. I’m hoping that the forum will provide a much better way of doing this in time.
I would also encourage any of the specialist retailers monitoring this post to register on the forum. You can post about your shop in the shoe forum, and be on hand if anyone is looking for specific styles or shoe brands that you sell.
I’m soft launching it at the moment, so I can deal with any teething problems etc before I promote it properly. All comments welcome!
Thanks,
Janine.

hey everyone,
i was in belfast recently and found that in pennys/primark they had size nine shoes. i went into the dublin branch and found only one pair of size 9′s. Fingers crossed they’ll carry the full range soon!
February 10th, 2010 at 11:44 pm
To my absolute joy I discovered that Irregular Choice shoes go up to an EU43, so check out their website http://shop.irregularchoice.com/womens/ . Now I must tell you I got a pair of these 43′s and they were a little tight (I am a true size 9), however I picked up a shoe stretcher (two way) on eBay and now they’re dandy. Good luck!
February 16th, 2010 at 7:50 pm
saive thanks a million for the heads up on irregular choice, you’ve just made my day! I’m so excited as i love their shoes!

OMG! Javari now have a UK domain, and are offering great shipping rates to Ireland… and they stock up to a ladies’ size 13 with a massive range! Hurrah! http://www.javari.co.uk
March 10th, 2010 at 5:46 pm
Some nice shoes there saive, thanks for that. will have a good look this evening but a 9 is not a 42
March 10th, 2010 at 6:57 pm
javari, bit disappointing. i wear an 11 so as thier 11 is a 44 i said i would try to buy a 45 instead. the search by size function was a bit faulty but it does when i search by category
only thing for me is clumpy runners. the really good thing though is if i did buy and have to return them the return postage is paid, for up to one year!!!! And free one day delivery. that helps when buying online
yipee
only one sandal in my size and NO heels
ah well, cant win them all. off to dublin to cinderellas so praying i will find something there.
March 17th, 2010 at 6:24 pm
just wondering how you got on in cinderella shoes judith? Did you find anything? i’ve had my fingers crossed for you!
March 26th, 2010 at 12:33 am
Hi Ann, Ah, thanks. Thats very sweet of you. I have a small case of buyers remorse. i spent a small fortune in Cinderella Shoes at the weekend. i have to say i am absolutely thrilled. i managed to get a gorgeous pair of shoes for the wedding which were quite expensive but well worth it , they are stunning! i bought four pairs of flats which were really really cheap and a pair of boots in the sale for 40 euro!! Where would you find a pair of boots for 40 euro in size 11. i shouldnt feel bad, i need shoes and apart from the weddingshoes everything else was very cheap. i was just afraid cos its so hard to find good size 11′s. i will try shopping online with them now as i know their fitting now but it might be a while. the bank manager might need to have a word. lol seriously though i was absolutely thrilled to bits with cinderella shoes. i spent almost three hours in there. they have so much selection and whilst some shoes are quite pricy i really could not believe how cheap some of the styles were and i am floating around here in some beautiful gold ballerina pumps like i am 24 again :0) i walked out of there a very very happy lady. thansk so much for that agian ann. you are an angel. and so are cinderella shoes lol
March 26th, 2010 at 1:05 pm
fifibelle is gone out of arnotts!! the lady in the shop was not sure why. i have been ringing the shop since yesterday, are they gone?
March 27th, 2010 at 1:48 pm
Hi Linda,
FiFi Belle has left Arnotts as unfortunately when the Arnotts Project moved from Jervis Street into Arnotts on Henry Street space became a premium. Our Naas boutique is very much open, we have extended our hours to include late night shopping on a Thursday (we are open until 8pm) to accommodate our long distance customers and from Mon – Sat our hours are 10am – 6pm.
You can purchase any of the shoes on-line through the website http://www.fifibelle.com & if you have any queries on size/fitting you can email us at: info@fifibelle.com or telephone 045 889725.
We are currently looking at new stockists in Dublin & will keep our customers posted when this happens.
This weekend, Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th March we are exhibiting at the D4 Berkeley Hotel, Ballsbridge from 11am – 5.30pm. There will be Irish Designer clothing from Tyrrell & Brennan, Tim Ryan, Heather Finn, Kate & Ava to name but a few….& lots of jewelery, bags & stunning evening wear. This is an event not to be missed, pick up your spring/summer essentials all under the one roof!
Hope to see you there!
Kind Regards,
Aoife – FiFi Belle

Hiya
I just wondered if anyone knew about Amber and Jade (www.amberandjade.com), I just ordered a pair of their silver sandals and so comfortable as my feet are slightly wide so can adjust the lace ups! I think they were mentioned a while ago but the choice and quality is better than I thought it would be!
Does anyone know of anyone who does similar really nice leather classic styles am a size 10. I need really good elegant work shoes at the moment!
April 5th, 2010 at 6:52 pm
Hi Aoife, Thanks for clearing that up. Its an awful pity the girl in your shop was not aware of it!!!!!!I travelled the whole way to Dublin. She swore, after taking me a whole day to get through to the shop that FifiBelle was indeed in Arnotts, and was not very pleasant about it either. I travelled the whole way to Dublin to be turned away but it all turned out well in the end as I found a store in Dublin supplying large sizes and was more than happy with my purchases. I tried, in vain, to ring FifiBelles again that day but could get no answer.
April 5th, 2010 at 10:33 pm
have to say i bought a pair of gold gladiators from angelina tournier, and although they were a fortune (£189)!! they are beautiful and so very very comfortable. they come up wide fit. I bought them from either viva la diva or simply be cant remember which one, but buying them that way does give you time to pay!!. Viva la diva also does other makes up to size 10. I would also recommend katie long shoes http://www.katielongshoes.co.uk
