Jersey Holiday Snaps
The weekend has flown as usual but at least I got around to uploading pictures from my travels to the island of Jersey to flickr.
Be warned: it’s just a haphazard collection of rocks, sea views, castles and animals! I don’t think I’m doing Jersey Tourism any favours
I’ll be editing the selection a bit when I have time, but at least you can see thumbnails of the entire album on one page here:
Jersey – a photoset on Flickr
Even if Yahoo! own it now, I just love Flickr
Thanks again to Anthony for sending a pro account my way enabling me to share so many similar shots with the whole world! LOL
I’m loving Picasa just as much. I find importing, exporting and fixing my photos to be so simple now. It’s great being able to keep my pictures so organised and recover from some photography disasters all in the one application.
My favourite photo is the one on the left of the lighthouse at Corbière. We cycled 7 miles on a glorious day to get there, which was good going considering I had not been on a bike for well over a decade. I think I’ll use the lighthouse for my desktop background at work to remind me of a day that was absolutely perfect, even if my arse did hurt for days afterwards!

I love that photo! I’ve got a bit of a lighthouse obsession (I blame Virginia Woolf) and have made a pact with an architect friend to do a tour of the Irish lighthouses at some point.

I’ll start with the nearby stuff – Wicklow Town’s lighthouse, which I’m told you can rent out as accommodation!
There’s more lighthouses here than I thought so I’ll have to make a plan with her and Thelma-and-Louise-it around Ireland.
