The BBC reports that some London hotels hugely increased their prices last night when many commuters were stranded there after yesterday’s explosions.

After seeing the whole of London pulling together in a crisis, hearing this really lets the side down. I realise that London hotels may be hit in the coming months while tourists are wary of travelling there, but how low can you go? One guy paid £250 for an £80 room.

The hotels concerned deserve to be named and shamed. I know I would never stay in them again.
