On a May Bank Holiday walk along the Grand Canal, we struggled to keep up with proud mother duck and her 11 adorable ducklings

   Sure don’t you have two days off in every seven? Huh? Isn’t that enough for anyone???

   maybe if i worked from home!
   i know what you mean - but somehow the 2 days off seem so much shorter than the rest…

   Was this was on the stretch of the canal between Lesson Street and the Ranelagh road? I think I saw that Duck. They can’t all be her ducklings!!!!

   oh, i’ve been told about those ducklings!! i must go and luck at them. haven’t seen ducklings this spring!

   had to consult a map to check that but it was the patch between leeson st and ranelagh road don’t worry laura you will be free to watch the ducks all day soon - freedom is in sight!

   I am a relatively frequent visitor to Dublin (I have family on the northside (or “the dark…) and I was impressed with the swans on the Canal around Drimnagh Luas Station last November.
