Janine

Maybe organising ebay networking meetings could be done external to ebay, but their eBay university event is a nice idea. €35 isn't much if you get lunch etc.

I managed to sell a load of stuff on eBay last week and I was shocked that out of 10 items 6 of them were bought by Irish buyers.

Now in fairness most of them had only a small history on eBay but still there seems to be a big Irish community there. With all the new people and all the people who've been there ages switching over to ebay.ie things are looking bright for the future.

it's definitely a nice idea. it would just be nicer again if it was free :)

great to know that ebay ireland has taken off dave. can you make a career out of it yet? :)

i joined up before ebay ireland but never really used it much. then when i did want to, it was *major* hassle to change my e-mail address. i'm glad i persisted though as it's a great service.

I'm an ebay addict and sadly out of the 100 of so items I've bought the only one I ever had to be refunded on was bought from an Irish seller! Still great to hear more Irish are using the service.
