Broken Resolutions
As soon as I came back from holiday my great plan collapsed. I had vowed to gently ease myself back into real life, keep my newly cultivated chilled out Jersey attitude and blog more often.
However, I came back exhausted and then had to spend the next few days sorting out some personal stuff that came up when I was away and have been playing catch up ever since. I need another holiday already!
I have been meaning to blog since Monday, but I was waiting for a witty turn of phrase. It’s never come before so why I was waiting I don’t know! So, drawing on my wealth of exam experience, I’ve finally decided that with the clock ticking, it’s better to get something written down than continue staring at an empty page
With blogging, I find that the longer you leave posting, the harder it is to post. So, hopefully this waffle will get me started…
Anyway, my holiday was *brilliant* and thanks for all the kind comments. Jersey would not suit everyone, but it really suited us. If you ever need a complete break from everything, I highly recommend it. The weather was glorious and the island is beautiful. I’ll be uploading some photos soon, but they don’t do it justice. My sister tells me that it’s hard to take photos when it’s very sunny, so that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!
I also hope to blog in more detail about my Jersey travels. Most people I know thought it was a strange place to go on holiday and did not know much about it, so I’m going to try to reveal all! I’ll be lucky if I have any visitors left

I know the feeling of not blogging for a while. I haven’t posted this week yet. I must put something witty and technical up soon (Can something actually be witty and technical??). Only time will tell.
Glad you enjoyed yourself. Did you get me a CD from play.com?? :p

What I want to know is if you brought Bagpuss with you?

yes and no sinead! i brought a small beanie bagpuss and bought a bagpuss millie mouse at the airport on the way back, but i’m afraid that the big furry catpuss version had to stay at home and guard my bedroom – i was close enough to the max baggage weight as it was!
and ed even thought the island is only about 9 miles and 5 miles, there was no sign of play.com! they seem to keep a low profile – they give their address as a po box number. it would not surprise me if they operate out of the war tunnels – maybe it’s a case for bergerac
