Big Bite on blogs

I thought it was an April Fool’s joke at first, but I was invited to appear on the David McWilliams afternoon RTE show The Big Bite today. They will be covering blogging.

Unfortunately, I can’t make it but judging from other posts and the irishblogs mailing list, there will be a fair few bloggers about including Gavin Sheridan, Caoimhe Burke, Richard Delevan and Mick Fealty. The show will be broadcast at 2.30pm on Tuesday, 5 April and repeated at 8am Wednesday, 6 April. So make sure you tune in, or if you’re stuck in the rat race like me set the video!

With so many opinions flying around it’s going to make great TV :)

Oh yes…lets plug it…itd be a crying shame if even one individual irish blogger missed it!!!

I am going to be there agianst three of Ireland’s most popular and articulate bloggers!!! Money is a cruel seducer!

  2. Richard Delevan Says:

Caoimhe, you won’t be against us, you’ll be with us!
Janine, sorry you won’t be joining us.

  3. Bernie Goldbach Says:

The blogging men need to defer to Caoimhe and not only because of gender-balance reasons. Caoimhe has more first-hand research of the real metric on Irish blogging than many other bloggers and I hope the television time gives her a respectable platform for presentation.

Caoimhe, take deep breaths and relax!!! It’s not a battle you are going into!

Pity you couldn’t make it Janine.

ah i wouldn’t have had any deep insights… even if i could make it i’d probably be too petrified – i’m photo phobic so tv cameras send me over the edge! :)

don’t be worried caoimhe – you were invited along, and your input will be at least as valuable as anyone elses – i’ve no time for elitism in blogging. try and enjoy it – at the least, it should add some glamour to your thesis – maybe you could get dave mc to autograph it ;)

good luck everyone, i’ll be parked in front of the tv on tuesday night with some popcorn for the special occasion :)
