Despite the many nice touches to Phantom Menace, Jar-Jar is possibly the most irritating screen character of recent times (apart from Derek Zoolander, of course). As for Attack of the Clones, it was nice of them to give the public lots of opportunities to go out and buy more popcorn and/or fall asleep for a little while (i.e. every time Hayden Christiansen and Natalie Portman appeared on screen alone together). I liked the original movies but, based on the evidence of episodes I and II, I won't be wasting my money going to see III. My word, I *do* complain a lot don't I?
