a fortnight that felt like forever
I’m back on my feet at last! Many thanks for all the kind wishes which cheered me up lots. Special thanks to my Mum too for holding the fort.
Normal service will now resume. That probably means about a post a fortnight moaning about something as usual! I’d love to fill you in on what’s been happening lately but nothing has. When you’re bed bound, all you have is daytime TV which has descended to new depths these days. I’m thinking of getting an extra NTL digital box for my bedroom, just as insurance that I will never get the time to watch it. Or worst case scenario, I’ll have so many more rubbish channels to flick through…
I did watch a couple of interesting programmes though. One featured a new book from Lonely Planet called Experimental Travel. Summer’s here and that means a holiday, so this book might come in handy. It’s got all sorts of weird ideas and games in it to use when you’re on holidays to make the experience less clichéd and predictable. With everything from Monopoly travel to shoestring adventures to sticking yellow arrows wherever you find something interesting, travelling may never be the same again!

It’s ok, she didn’t have many to begin with :p And personally I find an episode of Dr Phil quite enlightening!
