tiffin slice of heaven

well i haven’t posted in a while but it’s been kind of hectic in the lead up to christmas and you’re not missing much anyways!

i had the sense to stay away from town on saturday, but this only delayed the inevitable. so eventually on sunday i dragged myself out and found myself slap back in the middle of the jervis shopping centre. although all the 3 for 2 and buy 1 get 1 free bargains in boots got me all excited, it didn’t last long.

big shopping list + no ideas + squillions of people + endless queues = unhappy janine.

so this post is dedicated to tiffins cafe for saving my sanity. just as i was about to curl up and die, a wander down liffey street brought us to this little gem. it’s just a sleepy cafe, nothing special or so it seems. but just a few steps from the monstrous crowds, this quiet little cafe is an oasis of calm. as we sat munching our sandwiches i slowly felt myself feeling a little more normal again. rather than thank the super friendly staff for saving our lives, we just left a tip and left to recommence our battle…
