About Me
I’m a freelance web developer from Dublin, Ireland.
Outside the web, I like playing games on the Wii (especially Mario Kart!), baking inedible muffins, eating fizzy sweets, supporting Nottingham Forest and cross stitch – a bit of an odd mix I know!
Homespun was originally an all kinds of everything blog, but these days the posts are few and far between and are usually connected with web development. I’ve been working from home since late 2006 and have fun getting the work-life balance right occasionally!
Just to clear up any confusion, my blog was originally called WYSIWYG back in the day, pronounced WIZZY-WIG, an acronym in the computing world for What You See is What you Get. Even though it no longer bears that moniker, I hope that my blog will always reflect the fact that I’m a “what you see is what you get” kind of person.
